I believe technology should be integrated into the curriculum for many reasons. Technology is running our students' lives at the present time. From facebook to texting, they are surrounded by technology. As educators technology allows students to be responsible for their own learning. It also allows students to research information quickly, and this generation is all about the "quickest and easiest" way of doing things. Integrating technology also provides hands-on experiences for students, meeting the needs of different learners. Technology offers different ways of presenting information. Technology can make projects more fun and entertaining for students. Also keeping them on task which means less behavioral problems. I truly think that technology is a common ground for all students and is the most effective way of having active engagement. Technology has become a way of life, as educators we need to "keep up with the times" and provide our students with every opportunity possible.
